Apr 22, 2018
April 22 is Earth Day! There are lots of activities around Singapore since March to celebrate Earth Day. I thought of sharing with you photograph taken at the Boranup forest in Western Australia.
Boranup forest is a sustainably managed forest in the south western coast of Australia, near Margaret River. If you are driving along Caves road, you will not miss it. The forest is comprised of primarily Karri trees. These trees can grow up to 90 metres in height, believe it or not, it is one of the tallest trees in the world! This forest is a feast for the senses with the sound of the birds chirping, and the smell of the tree barks, as well as the beautiful wildflowers and shrubs on the forest growth. I especially love the fresh crisp smell of the eucalypt in the morning!
Well, what are the activities you can do? There are hiking and biking trails, picnic places and viewing platform for bird watching. There is also an artist gallery in the middle of the forest for those interested in wood furniture, sculpture, jewellery, prints and photography!
So in honor of Earth Day and the upcoming Mother's Day, I am offering 30% off all prints in my galleries through May 1, 2018. Just use code "EM30". If you like these images, be sure to check those out.
